You can disable the autocommit feature and increase the packet size for the connection. However, not only the ODBC driver affects the speed of record insertion. For example, you can increase the bulk_insert_buffer_size variable.

@@IspirerSystems thank you. I AM using ssis pacakge to load data from sql to mysql which is in different server. It has innodb engine. I have set up the odbc connection in ssis using system dsn. The source which is the sql is able to fetch the data based on the buffer size. However destination is taking long time to commit It.

Specify any name - for example ODBC_1 Also, when I click on the "which sql server do you want to connect to" box after typing the name, my driver application stops responding. I can't choose from there. After leaving it empty and leaving the other places as they are, when I proceed and run the last Test, it says Test Failed. - In box you need to MANUALLY specify server, where sql server is installed. it will be the same name as in sql server management studio, when you are connecting, Don't try to open drop list - just type server name manually (and make sure that you have access to connect to it).

And how do you like the fact that variables like localtimestamp inside a transaction always show the same time... Have you ever debugged code on PostgreSQL?.. All I'm saying is that PostgreSQL is not a universal DBMS.

Most likely your procedure returns the result set. By default, such procedures are converted into functions that return the setof of the user type. You can change this default method in the Ispirer Toolkit settings.
